The Competition is open to pianists of any nationality of any age. However, students of any 2014 competition judges may not compete. Participants, who are living outside of

The application deadline for 2014 competition is August 29, 2014.
Each completed, signed application should include:
A copy of the application birth certificate, or other official proof of age.
A short (at most 200 words) biography or Curriculum Vitae (preferred) including academic degrees, Universities enrolled and artistic achievement, such as major performances and /or awards or other honors.
A glossy photograph (suitable for publicity and competition certificate purposes), hard copy is no larger than 5”x7”, Photography will not returned.
Participants who are living outside of United States must submit video/audio for preliminary round.
A non-refundable application fee of $150 for Artist Level, $120 for Senior Level, $100 for Junior Level and Elementary Level, $75 for Chinese Music via a mailed cashier’s check, money order or personal check. The title of check is Cleveland Contemporary Chinese Culture Association (CCCCA). International participants from outside of the USA should be able to send a cashier’s check in U.S. currency, which can be obtained from their local banks.

Rule for Preliminary Round :
Those Participants, who are living outside of
Artist Level: Maximum duration: 30 minutes
Senior Level: Maximum duration: 20 minutes
Junior Level: Maximum duration: 10 minutes
Elementary Level: Maximum duration: 5 minutes
Chinese music: Maximum duration: 10 minutes
Repertoire requirements: Any compositions can be chosen, from Baroque to contemporary musical periods, but one or more music from Romantic composers must be performed for artist level.

Rule for Final Round:
The announcement for final round will be given by email no later than September 12 (Friday), 2014. Qualified competitors (approximately 12-15) in each level will be selected for the final round. Any compositions can be chosen, from Baroque to contemporary musical periods, but one or more music from Romantic composers must be performed for artist level. The maximum duration of performance is 25 minutes for artist level, 15 minutes for Junior and Senior level, 10 minutes for Chinese Music and 5 minutes for Elementary level.
We will invite 3-5 world renowned pianists and famous piano professors in universities as judges in this year CCCCA International Piano Competition.
Winner certificates, Performance opportunities and cash awards will be granted to prize winners in every level. More performance opportunities may be provided by the competition committee during the competition award celebration following the competition. Additional awards may or may not be announced for select competitor at the end of the competition.
